Description: Nestled in the woods, this charming log cabin offers more privacy than other cabins in the Lakes Community with ½ acre of land with a barn and several amenities including a wood fireplace, hot tub, foosball table, DVD players, VCR, whirlpool bath upstairs and more. Attention to detail was important while decorating this cabin- the colors and furnishings are beautiful and inviting. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room is set up so guests can comfortably enjoy the wood burning fireplace. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a loft offering ample space for 6 guests. The two bedrooms have queen size beds and the loft has a queen sleeper sofa. There are televisions with cable and DVD players in the living room, downstairs bedroom, and loft game area. The loft game area also has a foosball table. The back deck offers privacy where guests can enjoy the hot tub and fresh mountain air. So, this cabin is perfect for a long stay or a short getaway. Guests of the Lakes Community have access to stocked, catch and release ponds and the Seven Devils Community playground and tennis courts. Window Air Condition Available. Location: This Log Cabin is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. It is actually located right in Seven Devil's on the same mountain as Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University. If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-carts, and gem mining.
