The left sink in the master bathroom does not drain well. The drain top does not raise up high enough for the water to drain. It needs to be adjusted under the sink cabinet.

Love Echota and have stayed in other properties there before but would not stay in this particular unit again. The furnishings were very uncomfortable and not adequate comfortable seating in living room. We only had 5 in our group but could not all sit together comfortably in the living room. The 2 chairs by the kitchen bar were not useful at all and the other single chair not comfortable. The couch was ok but not ideal. The matresses on the beds were also very hard and not comfortable to us. The main probl

Suggestions:
1. I would have the ice maker turned on for newly arriving renters.
2. I would have the gast logs checked out before guests arrived, the batteries in the logs had gone bad and we had to call maintenance. No big deal, but it would have saved maintenance a trip.

Very nice property! The beds were very comfortable. I will say that the living room furniture (couch and main chair) were uncomfortable. But that didn't affect our stay any since we spent most of our time out and about. We liked the check in boxes, they were very convenient.

We have stayed at Echota for weekends for several years before finding Chalakee CD-5 a couple years ago. For the past 2 years, we have stayed at CD-5 for the month of September and have already booked for 2023. Clearly, staying somewhere for a month is different than staying somewhere for a weekend. When you "live" there for a month, you begin to notice things that might not be apparent when you stay for a shorter time. My comments below come from that perspective.

We stayed in CD-5 in August of 2021 and 2022. We enjoyed our stay both times. However, although the amenities and furnishings were adequate, they were not up to the standards we expect of a high-end rental.

We had issues with the ice maker from day 1. It seems that the ice doesn't come out as cubes as it should. Instead, much of it comes out partially broken and comes out very fast such that it almost always overshoots the cup resulting in ice ending up on the floor. We were diligent about picking it up because of potential fall risk. I emptied the entire ice maker once to allow it to start from scratch, but that didn't seem to resolve the issue.

The only concern I have about renting this property again is the small living area. We had anticipated having 6 of us for our week. That did. It work out, so it was just us 2....The bedrooms are great, very spacious. But, we would have been very cramped in the living area with 6. Comfy seating for 5 max. Sine the property can be rented for up to 8, I would expect seating for 8. The outdoor area was comfortably furnished and if the weather was perfect, this area would help with seating. But, if it is

I generally separate criticism for owners and the management company. To be clear there are properties I would utilize again though not my first choice. This property is one of those that could be better but still served well as a rental. But there are some items that need to be addressed by the owner to excel. The written requirements for checkout were to wash and dry and put away all dishes before departure. I found this very inconvenient and frustrating for eating and using the kitchen that morning before departing. We paid for cleaning as part of the rental agreement. I do not understand why we could not leave the dishwasher running with the dishes we used that morning for the cleaning service to put away before the next guests arrived.

Beautiful location and unit. The construction trucks in the morning were a little frustrating. Kind of ruins the peace. Also a little disappointed that the pool closes at 6 and we weren't made aware of that ahead of time. But other than that, it was wonderful.

Overall my stat was fine-the condo was very nice. However, when I come to the mountains in the summer I like to spend time on the deck reading, drinking morning coffee and looking at the beautiful view with peace and quiet. It is my summer vacation after all. During our stay Echota was doing lawn maintenance on the hill in front of our condo. The work started very early in the morning-before 7:45 each day.
