Wednesday – Go fishing at Grandfather
Trout Farm. Everyone is guaranteed to make a “catch”. The Farm
provides it all for you poles, bait, and fish! You only pay for what
you catch. They will even filet, or smoke it for you.

Thursday – Go Gem Mining. Pan for
beautiful rocks and gems, everyone can do it. If you find it it’s
yours! At the Greater Foscoe Mining Company you can pan for gems
rain or shine

Friday – Go whitewater rafting with
Backwoods Adventures! With several different trips available, along
with hiking and caving adventures you can include the whole family.

Saturday – Take a drive down the
beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. With overlooks and parks throughout
the area there is something for every age. From the scenic Linn Cove
Viaduct, to Price Lake with its canoes and picnic areas the whole
family will enjoy the day.

Sunday– Head to Tweetsie Railroad for
an old fashioned good time! For children, it’s a trip back into the Wild West,
helping the US Marshal fight off howling renegades and would-be
train robbers.
For adults, it means a family oriented theme park in the
scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, providing a day of fun and adventure
for themselves and their children.
