 Frequently Asked Questions from Renters 

1.)     Are linens and towels provided?

a.       Yes, all beds are made and sheets are left for sleeper sofas.       

b.       Towels, washcloths, hand towels, and bath mats are provided.

                                                               i.       Guests staying in Echota Resorts and taking advantage of the swimming facilitates need to bring pool towels.

2.)     What all is provided with my rental unit?

a.        Bathroom Toiletries (toilet paper and tissues)

     i.     Enough for  a weekend stay (2 nights only)

b.     Bar Soap, shower gel, and lotion

                                                               i.       Enough for a weekend stay (2 nights only)

c.        Kitchen Items: tr ash bags (3 per can), paper towels (1 roll), dish washing detergent (2 packets),  and dish soap

                                                               i.        Enough for a weekend stay (2 nights only) 

3.)          What items should I not forget?

a         Hair Dryer, Hangers, Laundry Detergent, Food Wraps (foil, plastic wrap, ect. ), Portable Crib or Pack-N-Play, Condiments, additional trash bags, kitchen products and toiletries for longer stays.

4.)       How do I check in if I arrive after business hours?

a.      Check in is normally between 3 pm and 5 pm. If you will be arriving after hours please let us know ahead of time. We will leave a late arrival packet for you that will contain keys and directions to the rental property you will be occupying. Please read your vacation rental agreement or call the office during regular business hours to get specific instructions. If you arrive after hours and did not call the office ahead of time a packet will still be left for you.  

5.)      Can I have an early Check-In and/or a late Check-Out?

a.        Maybe, with prior approval by the office

                                                               i.   Foscoe Rentals will be happy to allow guests to check-in early or check-out late if possible. If the rental property rented is clean and ready before 3 pm, we will allow check-ins as early as noon. Late check outs are permitted if another guest will not be checking in to the same rental property on your departure date. Please call the office ahead of time to approve an early check-in our late check-out. 

6.)      What address can I put in my GPS to find Foscoe Rentals office?

a.     Foscoe Rentals does not recommend GPS or online maps for exact directions in our mountainous area. However, if you insist on using GPS we recommend using it to get into the Boone or the Linville area and then use the directions we provided. Directions to our office are also provided on our website.

7.)     Approximate Distances to:

b.       Banner Elk: 10 minutes

c.        Blowing Rock: 25-30 minutes

d.       Valle Crucis: 5-10 minutes
